There are two buttons at the bottom of the form, and the difference matters.
Save draft
- The draft is saved so you can come back and edit later, and AI assistance stays active. You get the confirmation "Success! The draft was saved". Use this during the inspection, and when you continue the work another day.
Submit Inspection Report
- Click "Submit Inspection Report".
- Confirm.
What happens on submission
- The report is finalised, and the action cannot be undone.
- AI assistance is disabled.
- The report becomes available to all parties to the contract, as well as observers and other external parties the parties invite in.
- All changes to contract access are logged automatically for traceability.
Tips
- Fields are saved as you type, but use "Save draft" regularly when you work on site.
- Submit from the office, not from the van. The final read-through is worth the extra minutes when the action cannot be undone.
- The customer was already invited as an observer when the contract was activated. Check instead that the e-mail address was correct before activation, so they see the report straight away.
- If the customer needs the report by email or on paper, you have to send it yourself.
Do the parties receive the report automatically?
No. The report becomes available to the parties and invited observers inside Hunit, but it is not sent out on its own.
Important
Submission cannot be undone, and the form does not stop you on empty fields. Check that all inspection points have been assessed, that measurements and the thermography protocol are complete, and that the conclusion has been read through.
