The inspection form for the fire prevention electrical inspection of homes is divided into six sections that you fill in from top to bottom.
Good to know
- The form opens as a task under Documents, on the contract the inspection belongs to.
- At the top you see CREATED, DUE DATE, which party the task concerns, and who it is ASSIGNED to.
- If you are not the right person, use Reassign before you begin.
- Everything you write is saved continuously, also without an internet connection.
The six sections
- Assignment information. Who, where and when. Much of it is prefilled from the assignment agreement and your profile.
- Electro-thermography — equipment and conditions. The equipment and the conditions you are thermographing under.
- Measurements. Measured values and thermography records, stored as cards you can open again.
- Inspection points. The 18 points A to R.
- Information for owner/user. A tick for each topic you have informed about.
- Summary. Conclusion and submission.
Tips
- Take the sections in order the first time. Assignment information fills in fields that the rest of the form builds on.
- Use Save draft when you leave the installation, and finish up at the office.
- If you are unsure about an inspection point, leave it open and move on. The counter at the top of the inspection points shows what remains.
Why are the sections green here, and blue elsewhere in Hunit?
The green colour marks that you are inside a NEK 405-2 form for residential inspections. The rest of Hunit keeps the blue colour. It is only a visual marker; nothing in the functionality is different.
Important
Submission is final. Once you have submitted, the form becomes read-only and the report cannot be changed. Use Save draft until you are certain.
